After reports that Brock Lesnar went out on Friday afternoon before the taping of the evening SmackDown in Boston, Lesnar finally appeared at the end of the broadcast and attacked his theory.
A new report from Fightful Select confirms Brian Alvarez's first report that Lesner actually left taping when he learned of Vince McMahon's retirement and went to leave the building.
WWE pulled Lesner away from the ad because he wasn't sure if Lesner would appear on time.
The Fightful report goes on to say, " things have been blown away and Lesner is back."
However, the evening script was clearly rewritten and Lesner was not understood due to his strike.
The last segment (including theory) was " left in a way that could include Lesner" if his strike was resolved in a timely and sufficient manner.
Lesnar will wrestle with Roman Reigns for the undisputed WWE title in the Last Man Standing match next Saturday night at SummerSlam.
This is Lesnar's first match since losing the WWE title to Reigns at WrestleMania 38 in April.
